One-Pot Sausage Linguine

What you'll need: 
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes *more or less to taste
  • 1 pound or 16 ounces of linguine or pasta of choice
How to prepare:
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat, adding onion and garlic stirring until fragrant, approximately 2-3 minutes
  2. Remove sausage from casing and place in the same pot, breaking apart and cooking until brown
  3. Pour in chicken broth and tomato sauce, turning heat to high and adding (uncooked) pasta, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes
  4. Boil uncovered for 7 minutes, stirring pasta to cook
  5. After 7 minutes, add spinach and basil, cooking until the liquid has almost evaporated completely
  6. Salt + pepper to taste and serve!
